Between the effects of COVID-19, creditors unwilling to work with us, the imminent loss of our outdoor dining capabilities and a 60% drop in our business from pre-pandemic levels, we cannot continue.
IT HAS BEEN A WONDERFUL 3 1/2 YEARS SERVING YOU AND WE WILL RELISH ALL THE GREAT MEMORIES AND EXPERIENCES!

OUR PLACE

CUISINE

Southbound BBQ invites diners on an enticing culinary journey.  Many of the most popular dishes from the southeastern US, have been included on our menu.  From the coastal plains of the Carolinas and Georgia, to the bayous of the Gulf Coast to the mountains and valleys of Appalachia, guests are able to sample the unique regional flavors that embody Southern cuisine in a single dining experience.

COCKTAILS

Many classic American cocktails trace their roots back to the southeastern U.S.  Classics like the Old Fashioned, Alabama Slammer, Rum Runner and the ubiquitous Hurricane, all  originated below the Mason-Dixon Line.  Our specialty cocktails and bar offerings have been developed to pay homage to these traditional classics as well as introduce guests to some seriously tasty new libations.

AMBIANCE

"In the South, there are no strangers, just friends we haven't met yet."  While this is clearly an adaptation of Yeats' classic quote, it also serves as the cornerstone for the concept of "Southern Hospitality".  Southbound BBQ was designed with a long, inviting bar, communal tables and a layout that encourages interaction and mingling.  It is for this reason, we are  "WHERE FRIENDS GO TO MEAT".
